Cotswold Way: Your Walking Companion
Cotswold Way is a unique map designed to be your ultimate walking companion. The app shows the complete route of the Cotswold Way National Trail, with four scales of UK Ordnance Survey maps overlaid with the latest Open Street Map data. The path is highlighted in thick green dashed lines, while other footpaths are shown in narrow green dashed lines.
The app also shows your location as a blue circle with a pointer indicating your heading from the iPhone compass. The 5km area around the path is shown in great detail, with OSM data overlayed, including street names, pubs, restaurants, hotels, shops, toilets, ATMs, Post Offices, and points of interest, many of which are labelled. The region outside of 5km is shown in less detail but can still be used as an offline map of the surrounding area. Finally, the region outside of 20km is shown greyed-out and not displayed in detail maps.
